Customers could save up to £871 when upgrading to a new iPhone next year – dependent on the model they trade in.
Vodafone, the UK’s reliable, award-winning network,* launches its Phone Buy-Back Guarantee for the iPhone 14 series.
As the only UK network to offer a Phone Buy-Back Guarantee, purchase a device from the iPhone 14 series with Vodafone EVO and Vodafone will guarantee a price to buy it back next year, helping customers always have the latest tech by upgrading earlier.
Vodafone customers can get an unbeatable price for their current phone when trading in an eligible device using Vodafone’s Trade-in Tool.
Following the reveal of the new Apple iPhone 14 series, Vodafone, the UK’s reliable, award-winning network*, announces its Phone Buy-Back Guarantee – a new offering giving customers the chance to sell their iPhone 14 back to Vodafone for a guaranteed price next year (up to £871 depending on the model) – helping them upgrade earlier.
A spokesperson for Meta said that it takes “our obligations under the GDPR seriously and will carefully consider the decision as our processes continue to evolve”.
“This fine is about record-keeping practices from 2018 that we have since updated, not a failure to protect people’s information,” they said.
Ireland regulates Meta and a number of leading tech firms because their European Union headquarters are in the country.
Two European supervisory authorities working as part of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR’s) decision-making process raised objections to the initial DPC decision.
However, “consensus was achieved through further engagement between the DPC and the supervisory authorities,” the Irish commission said.
If a customer chooses to upgrade after 31 October 2023, Vodafone will still guarantee an extra £50 on top of the trade-in value of the iPhone 14 at the time, so regardless of when customers choose to upgrade, they are always guaranteed great value with Vodafone.
The iPhone 14 Series will be available to pre-order from Vodafone with the UK’s only Phone Buy-Back Guarantee from 9 September 2022.
